The June 2014 Festival is moving to CENTURY COLLEGE!
Our 10-Minute Play Festival is so popular, we are moving to a larger venue to accommodate everyone.
We tried adding a weekend last year, but since the second weekend in June is the Manitou Days / MarketFest kickoff and downtown White Bear Lake Parade, parking and access to Lakeshore Players was limited. This year, we are partnering with Century College to hold the Festival at their much larger theater.
Located about six miles southeast of Lakeshore Players with easy access from I-694, plenty of free parking, wheelchair accessibility, and more seating, we will be able to accommodate everyone in one weekend of performances!
The following plays submitted to our 10-Minute Play Contest were selected as finalists. CONGRATULATIONS, PLAYWRIGHTS!
Thank you to everyone on the 10MPF Committee, the Lakeshore Board and Staff, and the AMAZING volunteers at the 2014 Read Aloud Day, listening, reading, and voting!

A ten-minute play is a streak of theatrical lightning. It doesn’t last long, but its power can stand your hair on end.
— Eric Lane, author of Take Ten
Each year, Lakeshore holds a highly regarded ten-minute play writing contest. Both novice and published playwrights from around the world submit new works to our contest. Out of hundreds submitted, we pick only the ten best for performance. See what all the fun is about at our 10th Annual Festival as directors and actors from across the Twin Cities debut new works at Century College.
(Content varies. Some plays may not be suitable for younger audiences.)
